Zac Jones

Professional Dancer, Choreographer,
Martial Artist & Pilates Movement Specialist.

He has developed BandTherapy Pilates, a Therapeutic Conditioning method which blends Pilates with concepts drawn from dance, yoga, martial arts, osteopathy and body- mind relaxation techniques. He has applied this method to help transform and rehabilitate the bodies and lives of athletes, dancers and circus performers, singers, martial artists, musicians, and the general public.

His teaching style emphasises specific relaxation and movement approaches to allow the body to become its own teacher and in the process to find ways of overcoming injury, increase ease and range of motion and develop strength without strain.    

He has taught this approach at The Australian Ballet School, the Victorian College of the Arts, in workshops and classes throughout Australia and in a Pilates context as Studio Director at Back in Health Pilates.
